Juicy Pork Bun (Xiao Long Bao) is made from fresh pork and the bun needs lots of skill to make it look nice, made from the right proportion of flour with different elasticity.
The bun needs to be stored at -18 degree to preserve its freshness n shape . Once taken out of freezer, there is no need to defrost.
Steam it for ten minutes and eat together with thin strips of ginger and vinegar to bring out the full flavor of the ingredients inside the bun.
As a delicacy, the fresh juice produced inside the bun has to be kept intact and not leaked out. Thus you need to ensure that the paper (provided inside the packaging) is placed below the bun when it’s steamed.
Use a pair of chopsticks to pick up the bun gently and transfer it immediately to a small spoon.
